History of College
Daffodil College Uttara is one of the most unique private colleges in Dhaka. The college had started its journey with 47 students in January, 2017 with the motto “Real Education Enlightens Nation”. Its previous name was “College of Human Development”. It was renamed as Daffodil College Uttara in 2022. Since its establishment by its founder Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, a renowned entrepreneur and visionary leader for young generation, it has been successfully advancing forward with generous and noble motive.

Dear Students,
In spite of being a small populated country, Bangladesh is as beautiful as a picture. Moreover, it has an enriched history and culture, our population is our great resource that we want to turn into an able and skilled manpower to build up a self-reliant Bangladesh to meet the challenge of globalization. So the Daffodil family has been working for spreading an age-worthy and standard education for a long time. Since education is the backbone of a nation, we are committed to our whole-hearted participation in this nation building process.
In our country, a number of students are being deprived of qualitative education only for the insufficient number of educational institution. For this reason, Daffodil College Uttara has a permanent campus at Lalmatia, Block-A in Dhaka which provides all the modern amenities for the students to acquire knowledge with a smart and congenial atmosphere. Our motto is to bring out the latent talent of those students and spread a standard education across the country. We earnestly want a brilliant young generation enriched with moral and human qualities. They will lead the country one day and establish themselves with fame and dignity throughout home and abroad. We welcome our fellow beings and well-wishers. We do expect sincere co-operation from all.

Message of CEO
Each of the students has huge potential in them and at Daffodil College. We dream to take care of those potentials of the students. In this digital era, we are committed to ensuring a quality and complete education. As a member of Daffodil Education Network, this institution enjoys all the facilities of Daffodil International University in terms of extracurricular activities. Daffodil College is not just an educational institution but something more than that. We work, here, constantly for the improvement of the students’ overall performance. We help them become capable of their higher studies and career as well.
At Dcu, we always give preference in the students’ abilities and help them grow their capacity to learn to exercise genuine respect for others. At the same time we serve the nation as responsible citizen. Teaching on moral and human values is also given priority along with the academic activities of the students. To achieve that, we have Social Services club, Debate club, Language club, Science club & Rover Scout Unit with the active participation of the students.
Moreover, we are acutely aware of our obligation to prepare our youngsters to make their way in the world as confident, caring and responsible citizens. Our teachers and staffs are fully dedicate and determine to ensuring our students to achieve their full potential. Our goal is to help each student strive to reach his/her ultimate destination. Besides these, we maintain a good relationship and mutual understanding among the teachers, students and parents. We can proudly say that a significant proportion of our students has get admit in different reputed public universities at home and abroad. Some of them have already been established themselves and brought name and fame for the college.
In our college, ‘education’ is meant much more than the pursuit of Top grades. We are always eager to guide each student to excel in the academic standards and to develop the skills necessary for a successful transition into higher education. In this regard, we seek cooperation from the respected parents, people from all walks of life and from the students.

In Daffodil College Uttara, we take immense pride in the fact that our students receive the highest quality of education by highly qualified teachers. This is facilitated by paying utmost importance of teaching quality and practical learning. Our excellence is not just confined to the classroom.
